Snow fell last night—a nudge from Mother Nature that winter isn’t done yet. Spring still hesitates, and the snow may fade by day’s end, but winter reminds us it won’t bow out quietly.

Another snowy day in Vermont. The cold creeps in, and the routines march on—work, school, meetings, meals. It feels like life in perpetual motion, doesn’t it? At 44, as a single mom to a fifteen-year-old, my days often feel like an endless juggle of responsibilities: navigating schedules, whipping up meals, and managing life’s curveballs.Â
But somewhere between the packed lunches and the evening dinners, there’s pride. Every task, every checked-off to-do, it’s all for us—for our little unit, our dreams, and our future. Vermont winters may be relentless, but so am I.Â
Here’s to all the parents out there, braving their own storms, one day at a time. We’ve got this.Â
