Simple meal prep to save money
As a single mom of two, I realized we were spending way too much on takeout lunches. So, this Sunday, I’m committing to prepping our meals for the week—saving money while making sure we eat better. Let’s see how it goes
Sunday October 14 9:54 Am
Good Morning,
I am a single mom of two kids ages 17 and 8, I work Full time. I have gotten sloppy in many areas of our life, one of which is money management. All of us have been buying lunches instead of preparing and bringing lunch from home.
Yesterday I bought lunch ingredients with the idea of making lunches for the week today . Lets see how it goes. I have to save money because just my lunch is costing $9.00 a day X 5= $45/week X 4= $180 a month. On a single moms budget that just won’t work long time. Stayed tuned!
